Formula companies are everywhere!

I was browsing Facebook the other day and looking at some of my friend’s photos of their new babies.  One of my old highschool buddy posted photos of her son and also posted a photo of that little card that hospitals put on the end of the bassinet to identify the baby.

It usually looks something like this:

Name:  Perfect Baby   Weight:  3000grams  Feeding:  Breast

This particular “form” was sponsored by a formula company.  WHY?  And people wonder why lactivists are upset!  Out society is so inundated with formulas and formula advertising that something as innocuous as the form where your baby’s name and stats are listed on at a hospital are sponsored by a formula company.

I have half a mind to print out the forms myself on my computer and send them to the hospital.

Geez.
